Failures
Are The Stepping Stones
To Real and Lasting Success!
Is it possilble that NO really means YES? That
failure is only a step closer to success? That all you've been taught about the word NO and all the
negative ideas it suggests are WRONG?
Hi. My name is Tony Thomas. At first, I was skeptical about the "Go For No" book and how it could
make any kind of difference for me. The result was literally life-changing, both in my business dealings and in my
personal life.
After reading the book twice through, I realized that I had a very backward way of looking at the
word, "no" and what failures truly meant. The word "no" scared the heck out of me and sent me into a tailspin,
more times than not. It meant I had lost and I needed to tear down and rebuild what I was doing that got me to
that point....I had to figure out what was wrong. It was always 3 steps forward, 2 steps back....until I had
this book placed in my hands.
From the book, "Go For No," I discovered that failure wasn't an end, but just a stepping stone toward
my success. It wasn't whether I failed or not, but WHEN I do, where I take it from there. Take a look at
the video below and you'll discover some of the biggest "failures" in history:
I've been working from home since 2006, doing freelance web design, affiliate marketing and consulting work. I
wasn't doing too badly, but I had one major problem holding me back.
Fear. Fear of rejection. Fear of others saying, "NO."
Fear had me in a death-grip. It really bothered me. In business, I knew that what I was doing and the products and
services that I was offering other people had benefit. They were things that could make their life nicer and I
firmly believed it.
Even in my day-to-day life, I knew that people were going to say "no" before I even asked....so I
didn't. I didn't risk, I didn't take chances, I didn't speak up...all because of a fear of rejection and the
"fact" I knew the answer was going to be "no."
That was a HUGE mistake and I found that out after meeting Andrea
Waltz and Richard Fenton of Courage Crafters.
I live in Vancouver, Washington and so do they. Andrea found me by way of my resume I had posted on Craigslist. I
was looking for some extra work. She emailed me and wanted to know if I was interested in some consulting work for
some new directions they were taking their business. I sure was!
Even though my home business was turning a decent profit, I could always use the extra cash.
We scheduled a meeting at a small coffee shop along the Columbia River. I soon realized that meeting Andrea and
Richard was as much for me as it was for them!
Richard handed me a copy of his book, "Go For No" so that I could get a feeling for what they were
all about and understand what their needs were.
That night, I sat down and read the "Go For No" book. Not only did I read it, but my wife decided to read it, too.
It was an enjoyable and easy read, but deep and thought provoking at the same time. We both just sat and looked at
each other.
It was one of those experiences where the light bulb seems to come on and you realize just how in
the dark you were. There was a sudden shift happening. I got together with Andrea and Rich with the intent of
offering my services to them. All of a sudden, I found that I was the one being helped!
My wife and I were now in a real dilemma: did we allow this to change the way we received the word
"no" or did we ignore what was right in front of us and go on living a mediocre life?
We chose to let what we learned sink in and then act on it.
In a nutshell, it has changed the way we take hold of life, both in business and in dealing with
day to day stuff. We've been learning that the word "no" is not personal; not a rejection of us. It only has the
power we choose to let it have over us. We simply decided to change the way we think.
"Go For No" is a way to live life as over comers, not as defeated people. This rock-solid path to success is being
lived out by the biggest names and companies in the world today, such as Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen,
authors of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series.
We've learned that to expand our comfort zones and succeed at things, we can't let the word "no" cripple us.
We've learned that we weren't experiencing the most exciting things that life had for us and living up to our true
potential....all because of two little letters: N - O!Ridiculous, right?
We've learned that in order to succeed, we need to embrace failure and actually make it fun. By failing more, we
are experiencing increased success in the things we do.
We've learned that in order to get the results we want, we need to be failing as fast as we
can.
We've learned to persevere, no matter what! It's one of many life lessons we've learned from "Go
For No." Check out the video below and you'll see what I mean:
Andrea and Richard have been speaking into the lives of others for over a decade now. They continue to teach some
of the largest companies in the world to "go for no." Even now, many companies have actually made the "Go For No"
book required reading for new employees. They have seen that it works and are reaping the financial benefits of it.
At the same time, every day men and women are living more fulfilling lives...the kind of lives that were meant to
be lived. Not tedious, burdensome and tiring, but lives lived to the fullest.
I first thought, ‘How
could this little book have anything of value in just 80 pages?’
Then, by page 32, I realized that 'this little book' was about
to change my life.
All of my life, I've
sought the wisdom that is so precisely laid out in Go For No!
Every other book on the subject of success, handling rejection
and building personal character, falls far short of Go For
No!
Don't read this book
unless you are ready to have the greatest success epiphany
you've ever experienced. The genius that Richard and Andrea set
out is mind blowing. It will change your life, your career and
your company. If you never read another book as long as you
live, then, make Go For No! your last one. You'll be
astounded!
